Many months ago, we sat down with the Skin Cancer Foundation, to speak about how we might work together. I'd been looking for a way to get involved with a charitable cause, and realized that I had a few close friends who unfortunately had been treated for skin cancer. Those friends are always looking for ways to protect their skin - but so much of the sun-safe gear is clunky and, dare I say, un-chic.
So, I set out to design a hat that wasn't. It's a thick, flexible canvas, perfect for packing in a suitcase or stuffing in your beach tote. I added my signature grommets to the brim, to give it a little bit of tjuz.
100% of the proceeds go to the Skin Cancer Foundation, which I feel really good about. Plus, it's only $65-and a recession-friendly investment piece all beach-going girls should love.
